Shoura Park - Babolsar
Shoura Park in Babolsar was designed with the goal of revitalizing the riverbank, enhancing the quality of urban space, and creating a linear axis for recreational and sports activities. This project, with a functionalist approach and intelligent landscape design, strives to transform the river"s edge from a mere boundary into a dynamic and inviting public space for all citizens.
The overall form of the project is organized based on a linear design and incorporates diverse spaces through clear functional zoning. The combination of mosaic hardscapes with geometric patterns and extensive softscapes including tree planting and lawn areas conveys a sense of order, vitality, and connection to the natural environment. The use of modern urban furniture, wooden gazebos for relaxation, and outdoor exercise equipment not only improves the functional performance of the space but also enhances the physical and mental well-being of its users. The continuously and unobstructed designed access paths make the experience of entering and moving through the space simple and enjoyable.
