Design of the main gate and wall of Hadishahr Cemetery
The Hadishahr Cemetery project was designed with the goal of creating a profound, respectful, and aesthetically pleasing space for remembrance and burial, offering a distinct approach from traditional cemeteries. Through the meticulous integration of local materials such as traditional brick and exquisite Iranian tilework, this project seeks to elevate the public perception of a cemetery from a purely mournful space into a contemplative environment brimming with spirituality and dignity.

The formal massing of the complex, based on principles of landscape design, utilizes organic forms and structured lines. The use of traditional red brick evokes a sense of continuity with the past and authenticity. The artistic details of the turquoise and lapis lazuli tilework play a crucial role in defining the project"s visual identity, creating captivating focal points that contrast with the brick texture. Furthermore, the thoughtful selection of native plant species and shade trees, such as willows, not only contributes to microclimate improvement but also enhances the sense of calm and solace for visitors by creating visual layers and shaded areas. The entrance gate, as a prominent architectural element, with its grandeur and grace, defines the boundary between the urban fabric and this sacred place, inviting visitors into an introspective architectural experience.

This design is an excellent example of the integration of contemporary architecture with sustainable practices, where materials, form, and the environment are in complete harmony, serving to enhance the quality of spiritual life and respect for human values. The Hadi Shahr Cemetery now stands as a symbol of sensitive architecture, order, and beauty within its urban landscape
